Abstracta: The Art of Movement
Design Challenges
Create an abstract, in-camera title sequence that visually conveys the Kishōtenketsu story structure through intentional composition. Using only practical cinematography lighting, framing, movement, and spatial relationships the sequence should move through four visual phases: introduction, development, unexpected turn, and resolution. Shifts in symmetry, negative space, rhythm, and color should subtly express narrative progression, resulting in a poetic exploration of story told entirely through composition.
